History
The story behind FreelancePlan.
The name FreelancePlan originated at Zorgbemiddelingsbureau Quick, but the recurring theme of practical digital solutions started earlier.
From practical need to my own software
For Zorgbemiddelingsbureau Quick I needed software to organise freelancers and administration. Rather than adapting the way we worked to existing software, I decided to build a system myself.
That system became Freelance Plan. The surviving version 1.0 manual dates from 2013.
Freelance Plan included freelancer management, invoicing, planning, absences, sickness reports, files and records of professional competencies.
Development
Mental healthcare and digital client records
I worked in mental healthcare, including more than ten years in acute psychiatry. During this period I developed an early digital client-record system and trained colleagues to use it.
Zorgbemiddelingsbureau Quick
Entrepreneurship in healthcare and development of the original Freelance Plan software.
Freelance Plan version 1.0
The preserved manual shows how extensive the software had become.
