Less copying, a clearer overview
Your available home care shifts are fetched from your connected SDB calendar. Recognised shifts are automatically added or linked to your existing schedule, so you do not have to keep copying your roster.
Understand where your positive and negative hours come from.
If you work in home care, this probably sounds familiar: your route can change unexpectedly. A client cancels, a visit takes longer or the schedule changes. Some days you work fewer hours than planned, other days more. Sometimes you build up an hours shortfall, then you work extra again. How do you keep track of where those differences come from?
Looking back is not always easy. When approved changes to shift times are recorded in SDB, the times in your connected calendar change too. That current view then shows the adjusted shift, with the original times no longer visible.
Mijn Zorguren helps you keep that overview. Connect your SDB Octopus calendar as early as possible: the app saves the roster times it retrieves and checks for changes daily. After each shift, you record your actual working times and breaks. The app calculates the differences and includes them, with your explanation, in a monthly report. You can see what changed in your route and how it affected your hours.
Use the current test version on your phone, tablet or computer.

After approval, adjusted shift times in SDB can replace the earlier times, including in your linked calendar. The original times are then no longer visible in that current overview. Mijn Zorguren saves previously retrieved versions and shows the differences in Time registration. A monthly roster that has already been captured stays unchanged.
We can only save information retrieved since you connected your calendar. Earlier changes and intermediate versions between daily checks cannot be recovered retrospectively.
A shortened route, a client cancellation or extra tasks can change your hours. When you work fewer hours, you record one or more reasons; when you work more, an explanation is optional. This helps you look up differences and discuss them with your scheduler or manager.
Alongside your home care routes, record handovers, team meetings, training, client scheduling and other tasks. You can record several activities on the same day. Keep leave and sickness separate.
Mijn Zorguren calculates your working hours and the difference against your schedule. For each shift code, choose whether to include a standard 30-minute unpaid break. When recording your hours, adjust it to the break you actually took. Your SDB opening balance and the required monthly figures also give you an ongoing hours balance.
Your dashboard shows which shifts have been recorded and how many are still outstanding. All done? You will see 'Registration complete'. While information is missing, the balance remains clearly marked as provisional.
Your monthly report brings together schedules, hours worked and explanations. Email it, print it or export it for Excel. You choose whom to share it with.
Create your account with your work email address, enter your contract and home care team, and preferably connect your SDB Octopus calendar straight away. Also enter your SDB opening balance. Then record your actual working times and check any differences. Calculations and the report update automatically.
After working a shift, record your actual working times, including any breaks, under Time registration. Your monthly overview is automatically updated based on your entries. You do not need to save anything separately for this.
Get started with Mijn ZorgurenMijn Zorguren is developed for home care workers with changing routes. The current test version supports SDB Octopus. Other roster systems, such as Nedap Ons, are not yet supported. Any expansion to other systems will remain focused on home care.

The calendar connection fetches your shifts. Copy your SDB opening balance separately and record your actual working times yourself.
Under article 3.2 paragraph 1 of the 2025–2026 VVT collective agreement, your roster and working hours must be set and communicated at least 28 days in advance. Changes within that period require your agreement.

Mijn Zorguren saves one fixed snapshot per roster month: 28 days before the first day of that month, at the first successful SDB check from 18:00 Dutch time. This monthly capture time is how the app works. Available shifts are copied to your fixed calendar and remain unchanged.
When you first successfully connect SDB, we also capture the next roster month if its reference date has passed and SDB supplies shifts with times. We save the current roster labelled Captured retrospectively, with the capture date. We cannot recover an earlier version.
For example: connect on 25 October 2026 and the available November roster is saved immediately. December follows automatically on 3 November 2026, from 18:00.
If no shifts are available, no empty month is frozen. Before the month starts, you can still capture the current roster via Fixed monthly roster. Add the personal link once as a calendar subscription; following months appear through the same link when your calendar syncs.
For home care workers who want to keep their original roster and understand why their working hours differ. Routes may start later, finish earlier or run over. The app focuses on your own shifts, hours and explanations; you do not need to record client details.
Not with the calendar connection. Available shifts are fetched and recognised existing shifts are linked. You only need to check differences, uncertain matches or missing information. You record actual working times yourself.
A difference notification appears only after we receive changed times from the SDB calendar following the end of the shift. Fetching the calendar again without changed times does not trigger a notification. We compare the date, start and end time with your registration. When they match, this time check is automatically accepted and no notification appears. Only differences appear on the dashboard and in Time registration. This also applies to older linked shifts still supplied by SDB. Breaks and approval status are not provided through the calendar.
No. Working fewer hours than scheduled is a difference against your shift schedule. Your running balance also uses your opening balance, monthly target and recorded hours. Missing information and outstanding shifts can still change the result. The report provides insight; it does not determine responsibility for a shortfall under your collective agreement.
Use your work email address when registering so we can check your employer. Afterwards, you can switch to a personal address in Personal settings. Once verified, you will use the new address to sign in, reset your password and receive reports. Your employer and entries are retained.
The calendar connection reads your roster and does not send your hours back to SDB. Reports are not automatically sent to your employer. When emailing a report, you choose and check the recipient yourself.
Mijn Zorguren helps you understand your hours. A difference against your schedule is not automatically an established negative hours balance or a determination of responsibility.
